The Basics
3 Lesson Package
$360
This package includes three one-on-one training sessions with you and your dog. Each session is one hour long and designed to help you get started on the right foot.

In this program, I’ll coach you on how to build a strong foundation for one to two commands, as well as basic leash handling skills. We can also use these sessions to address early challenges like house training, crate routines, puppy management, or general consulting to support your unique lifestyle and goals.

This is a great option for individuals who are just beginning their training journey and want personalized guidance in creating clarity and structure from the start.

Homeschool
6 day program
$2,200
This program includes six one-hour training sessions with me and your dog, followed by six coaching lessons where I work directly with you to help transfer everything your dog has learned.

Homeschool is a great fit for dogs who don’t struggle with major behavioral issues but could use some guidance in one or two key areas. Whether it’s leash manners, recall, place work, or general obedience, I’ll help lay the groundwork and get your dog started on the right path.

This program is designed for the dedicated handler who wants to be actively involved in the training process. I’ll build the foundation for your dog and begin the generalization process so that when it’s time for you to step in, your dog already has a clear understanding of what’s expected.

You’ll walk away with a stronger relationship, better communication, and the tools to keep moving forward with confidence.

Adventure Camp
4 week Board and Train
$3,700
Adventure Camp is my most well-rounded and immersive training program. It’s designed to address behavioral issues and training goals in a way that is lasting, fair, and tailored to your dog. Whether your dog struggles with reactivity, overexcitement, or just needs help learning how to live calmly and respectfully in the world, this program creates meaningful and sustainable change.
Your dog will stay with me for 4 weeks in a structured home environment. They become part of my daily routine while I work with them on their obedience and the life skills they need to succeed both inside and outside the home.

During their stay, I will teach and reinforce core skills like:
-
Coming when called
-
Loose leash walking and heel
-
Place command for settling
-
Sit and down with duration and distractions
-
Crate manners and household rules
-
Threshold boundaries like waiting at doors, gates, and the car
-
Impulse control around people, dogs, and distractions

I also work through specific behavior concerns like barking, jumping, leash reactivity, or fear-based responses. Because your dog is living with me, I get to see who they are in everyday life and adjust the training as needed to support their progress.

Your dog will come on field trips with me to practice skills in real-world environments like parks, patios, stores, and neighborhoods. The goal is not just obedience. It’s about helping your dog feel more balanced and learn to generalize the concepts they’ve practiced so the relationship you share is sustainable not only at home but out in the real world too.
Once your dog goes home, the support continues. I include FREE follow-up lessons for up to a year as well as lifetime support.

Head Trainer
Kristina Ryan
Hello there!
I'm Kristina, the head trainer at Good Life Dog Training. My love for dogs began as early as I can remember and has grown into a lifelong passion that continues to shape both my personal and professional journey. I have over a decade of dedicated experience in the animal care industry.

In addition to being a professional dog trainer, I’ve worked in veterinary medicine, dog rescue, and doggy daycare. This broad background gives me a well-rounded and holistic understanding of dogs and their behavior. My experience goes beyond obedience and includes everything from health and handling to emotional and environmental needs.

What makes me different is the richness of my toolbox. As a thoughtful and balanced trainer, I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every dog and handler team is unique, and I tailor my methods to match their individual needs, personalities, and goals. I believe in the power of partnership and view training as a collaborative process between dog and human.

I currently train and compete in Mondioring, one of the most difficult dog sports in the world. Competing at a high level challenges me to be a sharper and more strategic trainer. Mondioring is built around generalization and adaptability, which means I am constantly preparing dogs to perform reliably in unpredictable environments. This is directly relevant to pet owners because it reflects the same kind of real-world reliability we all want from our dogs, whether we are on a hiking trail, walking through the neighborhood, or simply enjoying time together at home.

More than anything, I care deeply about my clients’ success. I love helping people build stronger, more fulfilling relationships with their dogs. There is nothing more rewarding to me than watching someone grow in confidence and connection with their dog through the training process.
